Rock of Ages Visitors Center features video, exhibits, and outdoor granite bowling lane. The outdoor granite bowling lane is a unique recreational experience. The Rock of Ages gift shop offers Vermont-made granite gifts, Vermont specialty gifts and other treasures from around the world.

The Rock of Ages Visitors Center offers guided tours of the world's largest deep-hole dimension granite quarry and tours of our Graniteville factory. Our sandblast activity allows guests to create their own stone souvenir gift. Our video, exhibits and kiosks share Barre's rich cultural heritage and explain our quarrying and fabricating methods. The outdoor granite bowling lane is a unique recreational experience. Our gift shop offers Vt-made granite gifts, Vermont specialty gifts and other treasures from around the world. Strength Through Heritage

Barre is the fourth largest city in Vermont. While the community first developed around the milling available along the adjacent Winooski River, granite soon emerged as the key industry of Barre. In fact, granite from Barre, Vermont was used in some of the nation (and world’s) finest buildings, monuments, and memorials.
